In term 2, the secondary students took part in a project called Values In Action(VIA). Each class had to do charity work of their choice. The Secondary 1 students went to Darul Makmur Mosque to distribute porridge to others. The Secondary 2 students, however, invited girls from Darul Ihsan Girls’ Orphanage to the school and organized activities to teach them about Ramadan. Other than that, the Secondary 3 students prepared and cooked porridge for the girls and the rest of the students in school to bring home with them. Last but not least, the Secondary 4 students cleaned the houses of elderly people. This is to encourage our students to do charity work whenever they can and to always help others in need.
في الفتوة الثانية من هذا العام ، شاركت الطالبات الثانوية في مشروع يسمى بالقيم في العمل (VIA). على كل فصل القيام بأعمال خيرية من اختيارهن. ذهبت الطالبات من فصل الأول الثانوي إلى مسجد دار المعمور لتوزيع العصيدة إلى الآخرين.
ومع ذلك، دعت الطالبات من فصل الثاني الثانوي فتيات من دار الإحسان للبنات إلى المدرسة ونظمن أنشطة لتعليمهن عن رمضان. ثم الطالبات من فصل الثالث الثانوي قمن بإعداد العصيدة لجميع الطالبات والأستاذات والموظفات في المدرسة.
وأخيرًا، قامت الطالبات من فصل الرابع الثانوية بتنظيف المنازل للأجداد والجدات المحتاجين. الغرض من هذا المشروع لتشجيع طالباتنا على القيام بالأعمال الخيرية كلما أمكنهن ذلك ولمساعدة الآخرين المحتاجين دائمًا.
