The Pupil Development’s (PD) Mission is to support the school’s mission by delivering effective developmental programmes which nurture pious Muslimah leaders with academic excellence, creative and innovative potentials to serve our religion, family, community and nation.

OUR PLAN

The PD programme is delivered through a 3-Year plan which emphasises on the chosen school values for that year. This is inherent in all aspects of the madrasah’s activities such as assembly programmes, workshops for both teachers and students and various instructional programmes.

FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL ACTIVITIES (FDOS)

Pupil development in Madrasah Alsagoff Al-Arabiah is an ongoing process that aims to spark and nurture the students’ potential right from their first day in school. For example, the first week of school activities for the Primary 1 students are planned to ease the students into a new environment. Various stimulation introduction exercises are conducted which aims to set the tone for a successful classroom environment.

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT AND STUDENT LEADERSHIP PROGRAMME

Over the course of the year, in nurturing pious Muslimah leaders who will be able to serve our religion, family, community and nation, a comprehensive Character Development and Student Leadership programme is planned.

In addition, our students’ potential will also grow through a series of either local or overseas leadership camps which aims to hone and deepen their personal leadership competencies.

The Character Development and Student Leadership programme also focuses on equipping the students with a prescribed Islamic etiquette, which refines students manners, decorum and good manners. These refined attitudes will develop the students into morally upright, caring and responsible citizens and leaders.

CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES (CCA)

Our CCA aims to ensure that each student from Primary 5 to DPI 2 has a balanced range of experiential learning experiences. Along with a strong and healthy body and mind our students will grow up to become confident leaders serving the community, country and religion.
